USING SURVEYS TO GENERATE HUGE NUMBERS OF QUALIFIED PROSPECTS
You
are walking with your new distributor in the business or shopping district of
town. You are dressed in smart casual and carry an official looking clipboard.
As people pass by, you single out a well-dressed lady. “Excuse me ma’am,
I’m conducting a Market Research Survey for a large international marketing
company. Do you have 45 seconds? You get a FREE gift.”
She
smiles, and says, “Why not?” You say “We are conducting a Market Research
Survey to determine the entrepreneurial spirit in this town. Could you describe
your job in 3 words or less?’
You
record her answers. You ask 3 more questions, on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 the
highest. 1. Rate your job
satisfaction. 2. Rate your entrepreneurial spirit. 3. Rate your desire to start
a home based business. Write down her answers. “Thank you.”
“The last part is a testing for advertising Headlines for Entreprenurial Reports. Which headline do you find more appealing?” Show the Headlines on the clipboard and ask her to pick one. She picks one Headline and you circle it. “Thank you ma’am. That’s it for the survey. We are sharing a special gift with our participants.” Offer to mail the gift. (get mailing address) Give a business card with your phone number, and thank her again. You will mail a sample and the Health News newspaper.
This
survey gets people out of their comfort zone. A clipboard conveys authority. And
it gives you hot, qualified prospects who have told you their “hot buttons”.
You can take a new distributor with you. Once he sees you do this, have him try
it. Then he can take his new distributor with him. It’s incredibly
duplicatable. The cost is very little. It is an ideal way to get a new
distributor off to a fast start. Give him all the leads, once you have shown him
how to follow up with the leads.
You can even open new cities with this system. Take a team of people and blitz the city. This is a great way to prepare for an upcoming event in that city. Give your prospects a FREE ticket to the event.
