SPONSORING LOCALLY
Have you ever had anyone ask you to be their sponsor? Would you like that? Even better, how would you like to have a steady stream of people coming to you with this question: "Would you sponsor me? " What if these people were already convinced that the products really work. Would they make good distributors? What if these people were already trained in how to do the business? What if these people brought with them a group of other people who were already in love with the products? Would that be good for your downline building?
Just think about having people coming to you with this request: "Would you sponsor me?" Does that sound better than chasing prospects?
YOU CAN HAVE THIS!
You can have all this, with our simple "bridge" system. There are different ways to different people. We call them bridges. People build bridges to other people. They also burn bridges. You probably have had friends who have burned their bridges to you, because you are in Network Marketing, and they don't WANT to be in Network Marketing. The reason they don't want to be in Network Marketing is that they don't want to SELL and they don't want to RECRUIT.
Here's a basic principle about bridges: Don't try to cross bridges that don't exist. You only cross bridges that are there. If a person does not want a business, don't try to sell him one. That bridge is not there. If you try to push him into a business, he will burn the friendship bridge. Don't high-pressure people. Don't come on too strong. That is what arm-twisters do, and it causes people to burn their friendship bridges. DON'T TRY TO SELL A BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY TO PEOPLE WHO DON'T WANT A BUSINESS. Before you attempt to cross a bridge, determine if the bridge is open. If the person is in Network Marketing, chances are that the business opportunity bridge may be open. If the person is not in Network Marketing, chances are he has a good reason: he doesn't WANT a home based business. The business opportunity bridge is closed. But there's another bridge that's probably open. It's the bridge of health problems. He doesn't want a business, but he does want to solve his health problems, either for himself or someone close to him. This is the bridge to use. How do you do that? Just give him product information. If he wants to try the product, he will ask you. You now have something he wants. (But it's not a business.) Sell him what he wants. Don't try to sell him what he doesn't want. Think about this: "PEOPLE DON'T BUY PRODUCTS, THEY BUY SOLUTIONS TO THEIR PROBLEMS". Let him have the products at retail price. DO NOT LET HIM HAVE THE PRODUCTS AT WHOLESALE. That is a good way to sabotage your own business. That is a good way to sabotage the business of your future distributors, since they will do what YOU do.
We have a simple system that should allow anyone to earn $100 their first month. How do you do that? Simple! Get customers. Customers want to buy the product. These customers will be future distributors; you are just training them before they enroll. When they enroll, they will do what you do. If you want your downline to treat their business like a business, set the proper example. These future distributors will be in profit the same month they enroll, if you do things right.
There's a step to follow each time you sell product to someone:
Give the Customer Opportunity Presentation: "John, I know you're probably not interested now, but there's an income opportunity here (do not call it a business opportunity). If you're ever interested, just let me know." (Then back off.)
His image of this business is being a pushy, high-pressure salesman trying to sell a business to people who don't want a business. Your job is to show (not tell) him that this opportunity is not like that; you just give away samples. The basic rule here is: Don't try to sell a business to someone who doesn't want a business. He's got to want a business before he will buy one. It makes no sense to try to sign up someone who doesn't even WANT a home based business. He's got to WANT a business before he will buy one. Respect his mindset: he doesn't want to sell and recruit. But you can change his mind if you SHOW him that the hardest part of this business is giving away samples. Sooner or later, he will come to realize, "I'm already doing this business, I'm just not being paid for it." That's when he will ask you to sponsor him.
1. Sign him up.
2. Give him several samples to get started.
3. Give him all the customers he referred to you. This puts him in a profitable business from day one. He has seen you make money by giving away samples. In fact, he has seen you make money by HIS giving away samples. He will do what you do. Some of his customers will eventually become distributors. Just remind him not to short circuit the process by trying to sign up people who are not ready. Only sign up people who are ready to build a business! (That means case Autoship)
You have just sponsored someone without answering any objections, and without drawing circles and without explaining the compensation plan. And you didn't even have to "close" on him. Not only that, you have just sponsored someone who is already convinced that the product works. PLUS, he is already trained in the sample system.. He KNOWS the samples work. He KNOWS the product works. He KNOWS how to build the business. PLUS, he’s already in profit, with the customers you give to him.
QUESTION: Why would you want to always be chasing people to become distributors, when you can have a never ending stream of people coming to you, asking you to sign them up?
This system also frequently creates a very desirable problem. Let's assume your customer "A" refers customer "B" to you. Then "B" refers "C" to you. All three are now good customers. Now "C" approaches you and says: "I think I could make a lot of money with this. I'd like to become a distributor." Now what do you do? Go to "B" and tell him that "C" wants to become a distributor, and that you don't want him to miss out on all the income that "C" will be generating. You would like to have "C" come in under "B". Now you go to "A" and tell him "B" and "C" want to enroll, and you don't want him to lose out on all the income they will be generating. This is an offer that's usually too good to refuse. You have just enrolled a chain of people - - - trained people, who are excited about the product, and are Know how to give away samples. They have watched you, and they will do what you have done. If you get a few people like this, your downline will explode! Follow this system and you will be bringing in entire CHAINS of people who are ALREADY excited about the product and ALREADY trained about building the business by giving away samples.
REMEMBER: The people you sponsor will do what you do. You WILL duplicate yourself - - - whether you want to or not. Why not duplicate people who do $500 per month in Personal volume? If everyone in your downline is at $500/month, what will that do to your paycheck?
What have we done here? You have crossed a bridge to other people, when the business opportunity bridge was closed. You respected their desires and didn't try to push to sign up people who didn't want to. If there's no business opportunity bridge, don't try to cross it. It will leave you in the water. Cross the bridges of health problems when the business opportunity bridge is closed. People have health problems. They want their problems solved. Help them solve their problems, instead of trying to shove something they don't want down their throats. If they don't want a business, don't try to sell them one. If they don't want a business, just be patient until they do.
There is something else here. You have not only crossed a bridge to another person, but that person has allowed you to cross HIS bridges to still more people. That doesn't happen with pushy salesmen, trying to push a business opportunity on people who don’t even want a business.
Another significant thing is that this is a non-sales system. You have sponsored three potential leaders without any sales techniques. You didn't answer any objections. You didn't CLOSE on them. You didn't even ask them to join; THEY ASKED YOU! You did sell them some product, but only because THEY ASKED YOU! Here are three excited people who have enrolled, and they don't even know the compensation plan. What they do know is that you don't have to be a sales pro to do this business. If you recruit with the product - you eliminate all that SELLING stuff. You don't need to be a sales pro. You don't need to be a professional speaker, standing before a group and drawing circles. You don't need to "close" on people.
NOTE: You can also build a network of customers across the country. Just give them your ID number and the company 1-800-445-2969 order number. Then they can buy direct from the company. TOP SECRET: The top earners in Network Marketing are PRODUCT MOVERS. They move lots of product each month. Their downlines do the same. They earn 4-5 times more $, with the same size downline.
If you try to sell a business to someone who doesn't want a business - that's a hard sell. It requires high pressure selling by a sales pro, countering their objections with convincing reasons to enroll. The high-pressure salesman sees an objection as something to be OVERCOME; and he sees the person as someone to be CONQUERED. Probably the least successful people in Network Marketing are sales people. And yet, most of the Network Marketing training we see today is sales training - trying to make non-sales type people into sales professionals. And that isn’t going to work! It makes no sense to teach people to fail. Network Marketing is NOT sales!
You are not trying to make a sale, you are trying to make a friend. Deliver product any time it is practical. You will build trust much better if you meet them in person.
You are looking for a lifetime business partner. You don't "close" on people to get a lifetime business partner.
Our system is duplicatable because no sales abilities are needed. You just give away samples. When people ask to buy product, you say "YES!". You sponsor people who ask you to sponsor them. You don't need to be a sales pro to do that. And neither do the people you sponsor. Our system is for everyone, not just for a group of elite sales professionals. It's simple. It's very duplicatable. The System can run right down your downline, and the $$ will run right up the downline - to you.
Let's look at some of the benefits:
1. You are in profit your first month. Give away a few samples each week, and you should be moving product very soon. Make sure they have your phone number.
2.You are demonstrating to your future distributors how to do this business, and how to be in profit their first month.
3. They will do what they have seen you do. You are providing training for them in anticipation of their enrollment.
4. You are signing up people who will be in profit. What kind of dropout rate will you have from people who are in profit? The people THEY sign up will also be in profit. This builds a tremendously stable downline.
5. You are enrolling customers who are already excited about this product. They have experienced it themselves. They have seen the results with their friends. What kind of dropout rate will you get from people who are this excited about the product?
6. You are enrolling people in chains; building a strong, solid downline of people in profit. They will do the same.
7. You are enrolling people who are already trained. They don't stand around wondering what to do. They know what to do. They have seen you do it. They have seen it work.
8. 95% of the population is not in Network Marketing. Why? No one has shown them what it really is. They think it's high pressure sales by pushy sales people, and they don't want to do that. Pushy Networkers have blown away 95% of the population by being obnoxious with their pushy attempts to sell them a business, when they don't want a business. This script is POWERFUL. It really works!
If the person is not interested, get off the phone. "Thank you. Have a great day!" Your job is not to "sell" anyone on taking a FREE sample. It makes no sense to send a sample to someone who is not interested. He is either "open", or he is not. It’s not your fault if he is not "open". Don’t try to convince "closed" people that they should be "open". If the person has made a decision to be "closed", we should respect that decision.
Our task is to find people who are "open", and eliminate the others. There is no "selling" involved. This is why the system can work for people who have no sales skills. There is no selling. You are attempting to find people who will try the product. SW SW. Some will. Some won’t. Don't waste your money. Spend a nickel on a phone call to find the people who WILL try the sample. Just keep moving.

HOW TO GET A NEW DISTRIBUTOR STARTED
Give the new distributor the training recorded message: 212-990-6182.
Have him send for the welcome letter.
NOTE: Offer to mail the newspapers to his prospects, until he receives his own newspapers. This allows you to keep track of who is working the System.
Call your new distributor after he has the leads and script. "Here’s your first assignment. Call five people TONIGHT, and see who wants the sample. Just follow the script. Call me back tonight at 11:00 and let me know how you have done. I’ll send out the newspapers for you, while you are waiting for your newspapers to come. After you complete this 1st assignment, I have other training materials for you. I’ll be waiting for your call at 11:00. I’ll keep the line open for you, and I’ll be sitting here waiting to hear from you. Call me at 11:00 tonight."

Now make a pie chart. (Draw a circle. Now divide it into quarters, or 4 equal pieces of pie. Now take one of your quarters and make it into 2 pieces. Each smaller piece represents about 12.5% of the total. Now write the following letters in one of the small pieces: A,B,C,D,E,G,and H. Write the letter F in all the remaining pieces of pie. 90% of your success is in the number of contacts you make. The difference between mediocre success and tremendous success is in the number of contacts you make. The bottom line is: the most successful people are the ones who make the most contacts. Don’t worry about selling or answering objections or "closing" on people. Your concern should be contacting enough people. We don’t want unwilling people who enroll because of your great sales skills. We are looking for volunteers.
We are building an army of people who can see the vision and are willing to go to work. Most people can’t see where we will be in another year, but it’s not your job to heal the blind. We are building an "ALL-VOLUNTEER ARMY". If someone is not interested, move on to the next person. Don’t try to change their minds. DON'T SELL! Just keep calling Networkers and offering the opportunity. Just keep giving away FREE samples and newspapers. You are looking for willing volunteers, not people you have to beg and plead with. Just keep calling. If they are not willing volunteers, they don’t qualify for our army. We are not looking for unwilling draftees that you have to convince. Your goal is to talk to enough "suspects" to find a few "prospects" who would like to try the sample, so that some will volunteer. If you are trying to answer objections, you are selling. You want volunteers, not people you have to convince. There is no convincing here, just present the FREE sample and move on. This does not take any sales ability. Just continue calling. 90% of success in this system is: TALK TO MANY PEOPLE. Give them the offer, and move on to the next person.
If you call some people, you will find a few volunteers. If you call many people, you will find more volunteers. The most successful people don’t have the most ability, they don't have the most luck, they just make the most calls. And they are the ones "lucky" enough to find the most volunteers. They are also the ones "lucky" enough to make the bank deposits.
